Description: Elegant Neapolitan mirror from the first half of the 18th century entirely sculpted, carved and gilded with gold leaf.

Made in Naples in the mid-18th century, with original mercury glass and richly carved and gilded wooden frame.
The cymatium, very slender upwards, lightens the richness of the decorations making the whole graceful and well balanced.
On the lower side the mirror rests on feet also with rich carvings and floral decorations. The scrolls and movement of the elaborate architecture of this mirror make it a particularly valuable object, characterized by a beautiful carving of racemes and flowers, typical of the period it belongs to.
