Good original example of the famous chair produced for the investiture ceremony of the Prince of Wales at Caernarfon castle on July 1st 1969. A truly iconic design, in vermillion stained beech and bent plywood, the three feathers motif is cleverly impressed onto the back rest to prevent wear to the gilding. Some minor wear to the finish on the arms, legs and front rail and unfortunately the foam seat pad has gone brittle.
