Inlaid Burr Walnut Credenza Sideboard c.1860.
Beautiful late 19th.c. burr walnut credenza c.1860. Four mirror panelled doors opening to reveal three cupboards (the centre being double width), each fitted with two adjustable shelves inside (depth 13″). Highly figured burr walnut veneers across the top, front and sides with contrasting inlays and ebonised mouldings. Original pierced brass gallery with lovely repeated arch detail along the sides and rear edge. Applied carved roundels to the front uprights. Note also the burr walnut crossbanding to the sides. Superb quality cabinet makeing with solid walnut groundwork. Excellent colour and condition, fitted with new mirrors, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
