Antique fine quality inlaid burr walnut Bonheur de Jour bureau desk writing table 19th Century. Veneer on mahogany construction, very heavy and strong.
Drop well bureau compartment with patinated tooled leather writing surface. The mirrored glass is in good order with only light oxidation.
Attractive marquetry inlays and ormolu brass mount decoration.
No loose joints and no woodworm. Full of character and charm. A rare and attractive quality find. The drawers slide freely.
