A very good quality, vintage 10CT Gold "Hamilton" Pocket Watch.
The watch has a good quality Hamilton calibre 992B, 21 Jewel movement, adjusted for temperature and six positions. It has a micro-metric regualtor. A superb movement in excellent condition and working order. The movement is stem wind and lever set. The time being set by screwing off the front cover in order to gain access to the small lever located at the six minute mark. The lever is pulled out to the hand set position and the time set by turning the winding crown.
The 10CT gold filled case is signed "Fortune, 10K Gold Filled, Case made in Canada". Gold filled cases are superior to gold plated cases, they have a far thicker covering of gold.
The dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and also an inner chapter for 13 to 24.
The watch measures approximately 50 mm in diameter, measured across the case, excluding the crown.
