Good set of Six Sheraton Edwardian dining chairs
These are as good a set of six dining chairs as you will see. The chairs are Edwardian, dating to around 1910 and are made in solid mahogany. The chairs have the cabinet makers label still on them, Simpson and son Halifax.
There are five dining chairs and one armchair. The chairs are in the Sheraton style. Just look at the quality to the carved and shaped back. The top rail and apron are inlaid with crisp boxwood stringing. The fronts of the seats are concave. The legs taper and terminate in pad feet. The chairs are upholstered in polished leather. These chairs are beautiful.
The chairs are in good condition. Joints solid. Upholstery excellent. The mahogany is well polished.
If you have a mahogany dining table and are looking for a top quality set of six chairs, then these are as elegant as you will find.
Each chair back is 35.5 inches high and the seats are 18 inches high and 18 inches wide.
