A good quality 19th. Century mahogany bergere library or desk chair. The curved roll over top rail and swept arms with rattan split cane panels to the back and sides. The drop in seat and armrests reupholstered in a top quality hand dyed brown leather and horse hair cushion. The chair is raised on very good turned and fluted front legs with brass cup caster and out swept back legs. The chair is in excellent condition with perfect cane, fully cleaned and burnished. Dimensions:- Max.Height…40’’/ 101cm. Width…23.5’’/ 59.5cm. Depth…27’’/ 68.5cm. Seat Height…18.5’’/ 47cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
