An antique "Goliath" large, over sized, pocket watch complete with silver mounted travel/display case.
The watch is in good condition and good working order. The base metal watch case is in excellent condition. The Swiss made movement is in excellent condition and very good working order. The inner cuvette opens to reveal the movement, protected by a glazed (plastic) cover.
The watch dial is in reasonably good condition but does have some damage between one and two o'clock (see photo).
The travel case is in good condition with only some minor indents to the silver and scuff marks to the rear.
It was hallmarked in Birmingham (date and maker's mark worn). Specialists in Antique Pocket Watches & Vintage Wristwatches, Jewellery, Silver (including Scottish Provincial),Good Quality Antiques & Works of Art.
