A good quality, antique, gentleman's Gold Plated, Swiss made Pocket Watch retailed by John Forest, London.
This watch is a very nice example, in good condition and very good working order.
The gold plated case, made by the Illinois Watch Case Company, Elgin, USA, is in very good condition, with some minimal wear around the edges. All covers open and close correctly.
The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the retailer.
The good quality, 7 Jewel movement is in very good working order, running well, winds smoothly and sets as it should.
