German Jungendstil Brass Inlaid Stamp Box
A very good example of a jungendstil style stamp box. This piece differs from the plainer versions commonly seen because it has a lovely naturalistic white metal inlay blossom on the lid.
This piece is in good condition with some age marks to the base and inside the lid that are in the surface of the brass. It has been but has a good patina on the outside, The inside is in original condition and the hinge is in good working order. It is stamped GES GESCH to the base which is German for trade mark or patent. It measures 8.4cm long x 6cm wide x 2cm high. This piecs dates from 1900 - 1910. Please contact us with any queries.
