Fusee with Verge escapement.
Movement number 34544.
Casemaker Horatio Bartlett.
Press the button to lift the front cover, (case spring no longer working), to reveal the dial.
Place the key at centre of hands to set to the time.
Place key in the winding aperture at 4 and wind the movement clockwise.
Please note this type of watch does not have a glass covering the dial so take care when handling to avoid damaging the hands.
The case does show signs of its age with some small dents .
The dial is in very good condition with only a tiny chip above the 12 and no hairlines.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 52.5mm, weight 118g.
Serviced and working well but does lose about 8 minutes in a 24 hour period, not bad considering it is nearly 200 years old.
Movement guaranteed for 12 months.
