An honest country made piece circa 1780. This antique oak painted lowboy side table is of generous proportion and good weight.
Super depth of colour to the top. The solid oak base has been painted a charcoal grey with a waxed finish.
A solid oak top, single oak lined drawer with two original brass ring pulls, all raised on tapering legs.
This low boy has bags of character and appeal, with the usual knocks, marks and signs of a well used piece - to be expected in an antique of this age.
A solid, useful piece, ideal for the hallway or kitchen.
Strong in joint, no wobbles, smooth running drawer.
