Georgian Oak & Mahogany Shallow Chest of Drawers
Unusual Antique Georgian shallow Oak & Mahogany Chest of Drawers and dating from around George 111 C1780. Constructed from quality Oak & mahogany it has a rounded edge to the top with a mahogany crossbanded frieze under. Below are two small drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with brass handles and ivoreen lock escutcheons and have a mahogany crossbanded edge. It stands on bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.
Measures 45" high x 13.5" deep x 44" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
