Georgian Oak & Mahogany Chest of Drawers c1780
Antique Georgian Oak & mahogany Chest of Drawers and dating from around George 111 C1780. Constructed from quality Oak & mahogany it has a moulded edge to the oak top with a mahogany cross banded frieze. Below are two small drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original brass handles and lock escutcheons. To either side of the drawers is a mahogany panel strung with satinwood . It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.
Measures 49" high x 22.5" deep x 49" wide
In good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
