A handsome antique Georgian side cabinet in figured mahogany with inlay dating from circa 1800 converted from a commode. The tray top with shaped carry handles above a twin door cupboard over a double height drawer. It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front with inlay, with attractive brass knobs and handles and stands on shaped bracket feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a side cabinet at some point. It would make a lovely side cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Condition Report:
Good colour and figuring to the mahogany. Some small splits in the wood to the top and front. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age. Some losses to inlay. It would have stated life as a commode and has been converted into a side cabinet.
