Georgian Mahogany Clothes Airer
This is an early 19th century Georgian mahogany folding towel rail or clothes airer.
The towel rail has a pair of gates that open out. When closed a hook keeps the gates in place. This hook has been replaced and is not original however the facet it slots into is original.
The gates have four cross rails on which to hang clothes.
The rail is in very good, original condition and is made from heavy, quality mahogany. (Circa 1810)
