Georgian English Silver Verge Pocket Watch


A very good Antique Georgian Silver Verge Fusee Pocket Watch, in very good condition and in working order.
Both solid silver cases are in good condition. They hallmarked with the Lion Passant silver mark, the crowned Leopard's head London town mark, the case maker’s initials and the date letter "P" for 1810/11. There is an of old watchmaker's paper in the outer case.
The Verge Fusee movement is in working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and has the serial number 6535. It is signed by the maker James Netherwell, London.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition, (see photo). It has the hours in Roman numerals. The bulls eye glass is in very good condition.
