Georgian C1730 burr walnut bureau desk writing
Antique early Georgian C1730 crossbanded burr walnut bureau desk writing table.
This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character. Attractive line inlay on the fall front, period inkwells and desirable drop well.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely.
Good shape and proportions.

Overall maximum dimensions: 89cmW x 62cmD x 99cmH (74cmH writing surface, 90cm deep with writing surface down).
Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Key to the fall front only, no other keys and the other locks are untested. Later handles. There are historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure, as should be expected for period walnut. Stands on a quality 19th Century stand that really 'looks right'.
