A very clean and original George III mahogany elbow chair, the serpentine top rail having a carved honeysuckle centre with pierced and waisted splats. The shaped open arms with particularly good subtle carved moulding and the stuff over seat with old but serviceable upholstery. The square moulded front legs with unusual carved leaf tops and chamfered backs with joining stretchers. Condition- Very good, no breaks or repairs with a wonderful patina. Size- Height...37''/ 94cm. Width...21''/53.5cm. Depth...22''/ 56cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £34.
