Circa 1800. George III quality mahogany armchair or desk chair. The curved, wide top rail with fluting and flame mahogany veneers above the middle, neo-classically carved rail and simple lower rail. Extending forward are shaped arms. With a newly re-upholstered seat in quality hide. All supported on square legs in front and out swept rear legs connected by a H stretcher.
