George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers
An exquisite example of classic English mahogany antique furniture originating from the early 19th Century, this enchanting piece retains its original brass handles and lock escutchions. The piece is delicately embellished with a Greek ‘key moulding’ to the top and cleanly demonstrates blind fretwork.
Standing on the original Ogee bracket feet, this George III drawer chest exhibits the time-honoured ‘2 over 3’ drawer composition.
An exemplary addition to an existent collection of period antique furniture, this item is equally as evocative standing alone as a statement piece in a contemporary interior.
