George III Mahogany & Inlaid Desk
A small good quality mahogany and inlaid George III kneehole writing desk or dressing table. The rectangular shaped top having inset satinwood cross banding between box wood and ebony lines with inlaid shells to each corner and a moulded edge. The long top drawer above three smaller drawers to each side and all having conforming inlay. The drawers are oak lined and retain their original pierced brass handles. The kneehole has a recessed cupboard and the whole raised on 6 shaped bracket feet. Dimensions:- Height... 32.25”/ 82cm. Width... 38”/ 96.5cm. Depth…24’’/ 61cm. Condition - Very good with working lock & keys and ready for immediate use. Delivery to most of UK Mainland £65.
