Here on offer is a most charming Georgian Walnut kneehole desk, of superb quality.

c1730.

This very sweet desk is of lovely small proportions, so would be wonderful as a ladies desk or a dressing table.

With wonderful figured Walnut, having feather banding to the quarter panelled veneered top. Having ovolo mouldings to the drawer fronts, with a feather banded frieze.

Having develpoed a wonderful rich warmth and colour to the wood.

The desk has a long drawer to the top with small shaped drawer directly under, with six small drawers flanking a very charming central cupboard door, with an arched feather cross-banded frieze.

All drawers are oak-lined.

With elegant brass original handles, all locks and escutcheons are present, no key.

Standing on bracket feet.

Very solid sturdy and strong.

Bees-waxed and polished.
