French Walnut Etagere Whatnot Side Occasion Table
Antique French inlaid walnut etagere, whatnot, side or occasional table....could even be used as an impressive cake stand.
Beautiful shaped levels with brass ormolu edging and marquetry inlaid walnut veneers.
Dates from the early 20C.
Decorative and attractive, with no loose joints or wobbles (although it is not designed to support heavy loads).
No significant woodworm.
Very rare and aesthetically extremely pleasing.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.

42cmW x 38cmD x 78cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There is a small piece of brass trim missing from the rear of the bottom shelf. The dark mark which repeats itself on each level is in fact natural colouring or the burr walnut veneer (slightly accentuated by the camera). Some board products have been used.
