French Walnut & Rosewood Double Bed c1890
A superb quality antique French double bed.
C1890.
Made of walnut, with quarter panelled veneers in rosewood, to the head and footboard.
The head and footboard are a lovely curvy serpentine shape.
Very simple and elegant in design.
Standing on elegant carved scroll feet, with shaped side rails, and custom made solid pine slatted base.
Ready for immediate use, requires a UK standard double 4ft 6" mattress.
Very easy to assemble.
Completely dismantles into a headboard, a footboard, two side rails, the pine slats stack.
The bed will be dismantled ready for collection, we are happy to help with loading if required.
The overall condition is very good, with general signs of age and use, commensurate with age
