A very good quality Walnut 'Bureau de Dame' circa 1880. With floral marquetry, cabriole legs, brass mounts and fretted brass gallery on the top. The interior opens up to reveal an original burgundy leather writing surface, three small drawers and a lower slide back compartment large enough for a laptop and books. There is evidence of previous woodworm, which has been treated. The desk has just been restored in our workshops and is in a very good condition.
