Rare French Empire armchair in maple c.1820. Curving and upholstered backrest and arms veneered in birdseye maple with inlaid stringing. Descending to lovely scrolling papyrus leaf supports. Loose seat pad over a maple veneered and inlaid apron. Raised on scrolling papyrus carved and inlaid front legs. Very good colour and condition with clean covers.
