French Bureau De Dame / Ladies Writing Desk
Here we have for sale today this wonderful French Ladies Desk, Bureau De Dame.
Circa 1880, and all made in Rosewood, French marquetry inlaid rosewood ladies writing desk/bureau de dame. Having this floral inlay surrounded by a string border. Below this, the bombe shaped fall front with similar inlay opens to show a fitted interior with drawers and a slide back compartment. The shaped sides and apron at the front are also inlaid with marquetry and string inlay. All standing on cabriole legs.
Its been into the workshop for a clean and polish and looks stunning with this warm colour (please see pictures)
Solid in all its joints with NO woodworm.
Please note that this desk is in very good condition, ready to use and requires NO restoration.
During this COVID-19 situation we are happy to store purchased items large and small (at NO storage charge) until you are in a position to receive them, however we will continue to deliver to UK addresses, until and if the authorities forbid this movement.

Collection FREE, delivery available England and Wales, we usually deliver for the asking price, for further afield please contact for costing’s, we deliver large items ourselves, with all items packed and wrapped to insure no damage, with years of experience, smaller items will be sent by carrier.

Payment methods can be by Bank to Bank transfer, cash, cheque, credit or debit card. All moneys must be cleared before items are delivered or collected. We offer a UK, 7 day full money refund if items are not as described or do not suit your requirements (excluding logistics)
