A fine quality figured and burr walnut side cabinet of bow fronted form. The burr walnut centre door with fine boxwood inlay and ornate brass beading. The styles and frieze with further quality boxwood inlay and gilded brass mounts. The cross banded end doors with line inlay and original bowed glass. The shelved interior still retains the original red velvet lining. The top has very good book matched veneers with moulded edge and further gilded beading. The whole standing on a cross banded and shaped plinth with boxwood outline stringing. In very good original condition throughout with a particularly good patina. The contrast between the inlay and walnut is very good and all the gilded mounts are original, slight fading to the velvet lining. Sizes- Max.Width...65''...164.5cm. Height...41.5''...105.5cm.
