-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A very elegant and fine Regency chiffonier / side cabinet.
c.1820.
Made from rare plum-pudding mahogany and flame figured mahogany, which has stunning rich figuring and glowing patina to the timbers.
The mirror-back two shelf super-structure is supported by very ornate carved scrolls.
Below is a long drawer with acanthus carved corners, over a two door cabinet having very attractive raspberry-red pleated material with brass-grilles to the door fronts, which opens to reveal a single shelf interior.
Working lock with key.
Excellent antique condition. Some historical minor repairs, replacement lock. Minor loss of small piece of brass grill to the right side door front, at the top.
Solid, sturdy and strong.

Width-92cm.
Depth-47cm.
