Fine quality French satinwood centre table
Fabulous quality late c19th French satinwood and inlaid marble top centre table with these beautiful and very elegant piano pedal lyre style supports.
This is a very decorative piece and in excellent condition. Very unusual to find the pedal lyre style supports on a French centre table, beautifully made with the twin columns finished with a gilded ball finial.
The table has a triform base and also has three gilded buns below. Inlaid with a fine ebonised band.
The marble is in good condition, a lovely rich colour tone.
This would make a great centre piece for a hall, but is not too large to use as a sofa table, lamp table etc.
Measuring:
32 1/2” or 82.5cm high
28” or 71cm diameter
27 6/8” or 70.5cm from the floor to the underside of that table freize
