Fine Original Victorian All Brass King-Size Bed
A superb quality Victorian all brass King-size bed.
C1890.
A particularly large and imposing bed, with some pretty detailing. Having wonderful solid cast brass decoration, of superior quality. With floral / leaf motifs to the head and footboard
Standing on the original porcelain castors.
In original condition. The brass has a wonderful naturally aged patina, and warm colour.
Fits a UK double 4ft 6" mattress. The bed can come complete with a John Lewis bespoke made mattress if required. The mattress has been used, but has had very limited use as it was in a guest room. It was also always covered with a mattress protector.
Dismantles into a headboard, a footboard, two side rails, and the spring base.
The bed will be dismantled ready for collection, we are happy to help with loading if required.
The overall condition is very good, with general signs of age and use, commensurate with age. Naturally aged patination to the brass. Strong and sturdy.
