An Art Deco Painted Plaster Wall Mask sometimes known as Chalkware. Very good condition, minor paint flecks off on tip of feather on turban see photo and around the base where the factory marks are again see photo for this. She has glass eyes making her a superior piece and the eyes are remarkably lifelike. She is a good sized piece, not a small mask. Masks were typically made in continental Europe, a lot of plaster work came from France during this period and I have seen ASC before on deco period plaster figurines and similar from this period but can't recall the factory name however Robert Scali was a well known French sculptor operating between 1920-1940's in france using both bronze and plaster as his medium.
