A fancy, antique, bi-coloured gold Fob Pocket Watch. The watch is most probably of French origin. The rose gold case with yellow gold leaf decoration. The case is apparently unmarked therefore selling as yellow metal. It is not uncommon for continental watches of this era not to have any hallmarks on them, particularly small fob watches.
The rear of the case has a former owner's initials and the inner cuvette later engraved with the owner's name "Antoinette Dubosey" and dated "1903".
The dial has the hours in Roman numerals with the minutes in 5 min intervals.
The movement is in working order.
The watch comes with a ribbon bow, the clip stamped "9C".
The watch is in good condition but has some minor indents to the case side band and one to the inner cuvette. These are of little consequence but mentioned for accuracy.
Overall a lovely, small fob watch, a nice addition to any collection.
