This hugely attractive piece of antique furniture is presented in excellent condition.
A very well proportioned chair with traditionally upholstered seat in a quality textile. It will serve wonderfully by the fireside, as an office chair, study seat or hallway feature piece.
Rising from original brass castors through exquisitely shaped and turned legs united by a fabulous cowhorn crinoline stretcher.
A substantially thick seat base gives further indications as to the quality of this magnificent chair. Robust turned arms lead to the padded wrap-around back support.
The chair is a quality example with traditional upholstery in fine order.
Highly desirable styling and craftsmanship to match, offering a rewarding seating experience with the generous seat height of 46cm (18.1") and useful width.
The piece displays beautifully and is solid of joint and in excellent order.
