English Verge Fusee Pocket Watch, Worsop

A nice Antique Georgian English Silver Verge Fusee Pocket Watch, in very good condition and in working order.
Both solid silver cases are in good condition. The inner hallmarked with the Lion Passant silver mark, the crowned Leopard's head London town mark, the case maker’s initials and the date letter "N" for 1808/09. The outer case date letter "S" for 1813/14 therefore may have been a later replacement but it is a very good fit and looks as if it was made for this watch. The bow ring is a replacement (not proper type). There are a number of old watchmaker's papers in the outer case.
The Verge Fusee movement is in working order. It is key wound and set. The movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and has the serial number 9607. It is signed by the maker John Martin of Worsop. Key wound with the key provided.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition, (see photo). It has the hours in Roman numerals. The glass is in very good condition.
