A very nice English Silver Gentleman's Pocket Watch by J W Benson in immaculate, near perfect condition, extremely difficult to fault in any way. It is complete with a presentation case/box from "J W Benson Ltd, Watchmakers,Jewellers & Silversmiths, 62&62 Ludgate Hill, EC4 (London)"
The plain English silver watch case is in excellent condition and hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark, the leopard's head London town mark, the maker's mark "JWB" for JW Benson and date letter "A" for 1936/37.
The watch has a good quality, 15 Jewel, Swiss made movement, in excellent working order.
The dial is also in perfect condition.
Overall a very nice example, very difficult to find a better one.
