A good, gentleman's American Elgin, Hunter Cased Pocket Watch dating from c1915.
This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in good working order.
The gold plated J Boss 20 year case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, all covers opening and closing tightly as they should.
The white enamel dial is in good condition, but does have some faint hairlines as can be seen in the photo. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. It is signed by the maker Elgin.
The good quality, Elgin 7 jewel Lever movement is in good working order.
The watch measures 50mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown).
