Elgin Father Time Gold Filled Open Face Pocket Watch USA 1925

A gold-filled Elgin Father time railroad grade pocket watch, made in the USA in 1925. The pocket watch is complete with a blue plastic to open the screw back case. This ball has uniquely been designed to open screw back pocket watch cases.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: “Elgin”.

Movement: The anchor lever movement is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Elgin Natl Watch co, US, Father Time, 21 jewels, 23466940, adjusted 5 positions”.

Case: The Elgin pocket watch lies in a gold-filled open face case with an engine turned finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped: “Keystone, J. Boss, 10K Gold Filled, 9987153”.
