A good quality Victorian walnut chiffonier.

c1860.

The back has a beautifully carved cresting in the rococo manner, with a serpentine shaped shelf below, having barley-twist supports. Over a cushion moulded drawer, with cabinet doors below. The doors open to reveal a single shelved interior.

The left door has the original brass bolt lock, the right door has a working lock with key.

The walnut is particularly lovely, being highly figured and of a good rich colour and patination.

Standing on a solid plinth base.

In excellent antique condition, expected signs of age and use.
