Elegant Victorian Mahogany Serpentine Chiffonier

A superb quality Victorian chiffonier.
c1860.
This very elegant chiffonier is made of mahogany with a lovely rich, warm patina, with stunning figuring to the mahogany.
The serpentine top is over a frieze drawer, with two cupboard doors below, the door fronts have the most wonderful scroll-carved decoration, and rich colour. Flanking the doors are beautiful classical carved corbels. With working lock and key.
The doors open to reveal a fitted interior, with a single fixed shelf, and compartmented base.
Standing on a serpentine shaped plinth base.
In excellent antique condition.
