Antique fine quality Edwardian Sheraton inlaid mahogany chiffonier sideboard.
We think that this piece is made from red walnut, which looks very much like mahogany. The top may well be a special show wood.
This one of the finest quality sideboards that we have seen, in extremely good original condition.
Very decorative and attractive.....a great centre piece, with lovely colouring.
Ornate brass gallery and a pull out cellarette.
A rare quality piece, with very attractive inlays.
No significant woodworm.
The mahogany lined drawer slides freely.
Overall maximum dimensions 181cmW x 69cmD x 75cmH (plus 46.5cmH upstand and brass gallery).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No keys and the locks are consequently untested.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
