An attractive Sheraton revival satinwood and inlaid desk. The rectangular and bow fronted centre retaining the original green leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling and a cast brass gallery. The graduated drawers having rosewood banding between ebony stringing with inlaid fleur-de-lis to the corners and oval brass handles. The stiles inlaid with graduated harebells, The kneehole having Sheraton style inlaid corner brackets, the sides with conforming inlay and the whole raised on square tapering legs with brass casters. In very good condition with quality mahogany linings throughout. Dimensions:- Height…30’’/ 76cm. Width…53.75’’/ 136.5cm. Depth…25.5’’/ 65cm. Kneehole Height…24’’/ 61cm.
