Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Walnut Armchair Chair
Antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany (possibly red walnut, it is sometimes hard to tell) armchair.
A great chair with a lot of age and charm originating in the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Very unusual, with lovely proportions and styling.
Attractive spindle back, with marquetry inlay.
Lovely age colour and patina.
Solid, with no loose joints.
Overall maximum dimensions
Chair 54cmW x 56cmD x 94cmH (42cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. The upholstery is not new, with light wear and no major marks. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. Just a few historical woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure.
