Edwardian Inlaid Cylinder Desk
An Edwardian mahogany and inlaid cylinder bureau. The rectangular shaped top having a short inlaid up-stand above three oak lined drawers with satinwood cross banding between boxwood and ebony lines and brass pulls. The inlaid cylinder opens to a well fitted interior having 2 burr maple fronted drawers, 6 pigeonholes and a pull out green leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The lower section having 2 wide over 2 narrow drawers and again with conforming satinwood banding and brass pulls. This useful desk is raised on square tapering and inlaid legs with casters and working locks & keys. Dimensions:- Height…39.75’’/ 121.5cm. Width…39.5’’/ 121cm. Depth…20.75’’/ 53cm.
