Selling is a very nice unusual Top Quality Inlaid Edwardian Carlton House Style Desk( Circa 1901 -1910 )in excellent condition having been re polished by hand. The top of the desk has a very nice fretted original brass gallery, below this on either side it has two inlaid drawers, in between the drawers it has a very nice rising fall inlaid with a classical urn and serpents which when opened reveals reveals two original inkwells small storage compartments and a pen slide. The surface of the desk has a very nice brown leather insert with gold tooling.Below the top it has three drawers with matching inlays, the desk stands on tapered legs which are also inlaid with classical urns etc and stands on original casters .The desk is complete with keys. A great quality item
