An extremely good quality English Edwardian bronze gilt antique chandelier in the French style with six curved arms featuring the head of the diety Ammon which are embellished with leaf design terminating to reeded and foliate bobeche trays finished with decorative cups. The main body of the chandelier is adorned with female term figures and fluted and reeded detail which finishes with finial underneath.

When lit the beautifully cast chandelier glistens highlighting the supurb quality. The chandelier hangs on a seven inch chain and comes with its original four inch ceiling rose. The bronze gilt has been cleaned and lacquered and the light has been rewired and is in full working order.

The chandelier is stamped with the makers name G.E.C

G.E.C (General Electric Company) was established in London in the 1880s by Gustav Binswanger. By the 1890s the company had expanded opening new factories manufacturing lighting and exporting around the world.

There are a pair of matching wall lights available to go with this chandelier.

Small goods will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number and are usually next day delivery services. All of our small items (mantel clocks, smaller chandeliers, wall lights, miscellaneous items) are packaged to a high standard. Double boxed, bubble wrapped and bedded in foam. Our preferred courier is Parcelforce, however we may send with a different courier occasionally.

Larger items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase but please allow three weeks. We use smaller carrier companies which take a bit longer but we would rather your item arrives at your door safely. Like our small items, our larger items are packaged well and protected.

Delivery is included in the price for mainland UK. If you are interested in purchasing and are outside the UK mainland or in the Scottish Highlands please get in touch first for a shipping quote. If you are an overseas buyer please contact us with your address so we can provide you with an accurate shipping quote and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
