Edwardian Cast Silver Desk Seal of a Horsewoman
Finely cast, Edwardian silver desk seal in the form of a standing horsewoman an a plinth- tricorne hat, flowing robes and a riding crop – the circular matrix with a four-initial monogram - 6cm tall - Good clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1902, Joseph Rogers & Sons.
Excellent condition - commensurate with age and use. No damage or significant wear.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise.
