This is an interesting pair of early 20th century framed specimens from the collection of the Mission Museum Steyl. The oval gilt metal frames contain a good example of an atlas moth in very good order and a large South American butterfly, with slight historic deterioration. These have the original backing with reference labels from the Mission Museum in Steyl.
The frames measure 20 cms by 15 cms.
