A good quality early 19th Century mahogany twin pedestal partners desk, the moulded edge top having a green leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, the front of the desk having an arrangement of nine graduated, mahogany lined drawers with engraved brass knob handles, crossbanded drawer fronts, the reverse of the desk having three drawers at the top, the same detail as the front, and a cupboard below on each pedestal having a single shelf inside, supported on a plinth base. Circa 1820.
